The INLD candidate from the Julana Assembly constituency, Surender Lathar, has signed an affidavit pertaining to his pre-poll promises.

The affidavit, which is a written statement that has been sworn to and witnessed by a notary public, has gone viral on social media.

Lathar, a resident of Buda Khera Lathar village, has promised 25,000 jobs to educated youths of the Julana Assembly segment. He also stated that he would provide potable water in every village of the segment and ensure the construction of a kisan majdoor bhawan.

As per the budget of the state, the Julana segment has a share of Rs 11,000 crore. And so, Rs 55 crore would be spend on development in each booth, as per the wishes of local residents, he stated in the affidavit. He said he would resign if he failed to fulfil his promises.
