A woman wearing a saree is seen standing near him. In the footage, the lawyer appears to take her hand and pull her closer. Despite her visible hesitation and attempt to resist, he proceeds to kiss her briefly before she steps away.

The identities of both the lawyer and the woman have not yet been confirmed. The Tribune, however, cannot independently verify the authenticity of the viral video.

Public reaction

The footage quickly circulated across social media platforms, prompting a flood of reactions ranging from disbelief to anger. Many users condemned the lawyer's actions, calling them inappropriate and unprofessional.

"Such a shame," one user wrote, while another commented, "He just happened to get caught—others working remotely may not be very different."

Some users also took a sarcastic tone, with one saying, “DHC proceedings are now peak entertainment. From serious judgments to unpredictable theatrics, it’s a show every day!” Another added, “Justice may be blind, but now it’s also on mute—and accidentally on camera.”

Call for action

Legal experts and members of the public are now calling for stricter guidelines and disciplinary action to maintain the sanctity of court proceedings, even in virtual settings. As of now, there has been no official statement from the Delhi High Court regarding the incident.
