Freida Pinto and her photographer-beau Cory Tran recently attended Freida’s sister Sharon’s marriage. The Slumdog Millionaire actress shared snapshots from the ceremony on social media. Freida ensured that her fiancé dressed up in Indian wear while she wore a beautiful yellow lehenga. Sharing her picture, the actress wrote, “Sister of the bride. #sharonwedsbiplab.”
Going through the pictures, shared by Freida and Cory on their Instagram stories, it seems the wedding was a close-knit family affair. From decoration to the attire of the groom-bride and guests, traditional Assamese flavour was all around. While Freida went for a lehenga, Cory chose to go more traditional and wore an off-white kurta and pyjama, paired with an Assamese shawl.
Before dating Cory Tran, Frieda was in a relationship with her Slumdog Millionaire co-star Dev Patel. The two actors broke up in 2014.
