Two students were arrested for performing dangerous stunts near Shamshabad locality of Hyderabad on Monday.

The incident, which involved high-speed stunts in a BMW and a Toyota Fortuner, was caught on camera and went viral on social media.

According to the police, the students performed "donut" stunts which involves spinning of their vehicles.

Police began probe after videos of the stunts surfaced online. Using CCTV footage, the Police identified the two students as Mohammed Obaidullah (25), a resident of Rajendranagar, and Zohair Siddiqui (25), a resident of Malakpet. The two were then taken into custody.

"The students were doing stunts in two different cars on the ORR (Outer Ring Road) Shamshabad. The act was captured on the closed-circuit cameras installed on the ORR stretch. A video of the students performing the stunts has gone viral," said an official.

Their cars have been seized, and a case has been registered under relevant sections of the law for endangering public safety.
