Alia Bhatt mocks Ibrahim Ali Khan's heartfelt compliment on 'Koffee with Karan'; 'snob alert', say netizens

Ever since the first episode of season seven of ‘Koffee with Karan’ starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh dropped, social media has been buzzing with many priceless moments.
One of those was Alia Bhatt reading out to the world the best compliment she has ever received for her movie ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan had messaged Alia, complimenting her for her performance in the film.
She read Ibrahim’s message out loud: “Had to remove the time to message you personally. I cannot believe this is the same lady I learn from every time I am on set. You’re just phenomenal! You are so so good as Gangu and seeing you as Rani and then watching this film, it’s safe to say you mould yourself effortlessly, like water taking shape of its container. So so good! Best actress in this country!”

While Alia was extremely happy sharing his message, fans of Ibrahim didn’t like her ‘snobbish attitude’.
People called out Alia for mocking Ibrahim and being a ‘bully’. Some even pointed out her ‘condescending tone’ while reading out his message and making fun of him.
Alia was slammed for being ‘obnoxious’ and making Ibrahim a laughing stock for his heartfelt message of appreciation.
Viewers were also not happy at Ranveer pulling Ibrahim’s leg by referring to him as being busier than Jeff Bezos.
A user called Alia out and wrote: “Publicly mocking his English and ridiculing him that too for a compliment he gave her, such lowly behaviour. Alia herself was subjected to relentless mocking during her “Prithviraj Chauhan” phase and she hasn’t gained any sense of empathy from that.”
Another user commented, “I hated that Ranveer made fun of it. Ibrahim is just a kid and the message was so innocent and heartfelt. Ranveer said things like Jeff Bezos and he was cringing at the message. No cool Ranveer!”
