‘Dear Sujan Sir..’: Watch how a teacher from Nepal ‘won in life’, hostel students give him the best gift on his birthday
Chandigarh, February 14
Boarding schools are fun. For many, who have been in hostels, would know the teachers and students were their family for years.
A video of a great bond between students of a boarding school in Nepal and their teacher Sujan sir has gone viral.
The video was recorded at Gandaki Boarding School (GBS) in Pokhara. Students planned a surprise for Sujan sir’s birthday.
Shared by a student on Instagram, the clip showed how the students tricked their teacher.
In the video, some students are seen fighting, but it was precisely at this moment that Sujan sir stepped in and tried to defuse the situation.
Just then a gratifying twist, one student emerged from the crowd with a bouquet in his hand to wish Sujan sir.
The teacher’s face was beaming with joy as the students came together and hugged him.
“Happiest birthday Sujan sir. Thank you for always going out and beyond to give the best for us. Thank you for being our friend, thank you for making us feel like a big chaotic family. We have learned so much from you, much more than the pages of any textbook could ever teach us. This prank might have gone a lil overboard, but your effort clearly shows how much you care for each of us. Sending BOUQUETS of love and flower. Section D,” reads the caption.
