Diljit Dosanjh ends 10 years’ partnership with Sonali Singh; manager unfollows Punjabi star on Instagram
Punjabi singing sensation Diljit Dosanjh has reportedly parted ways with his long-time manager Sonali Singh, marking the end of a professional relationship that spanned over a decade.
According to The Hollywood Reporter India, the unexpected split has sent ripples through the entertainment industry, especially among fans who have closely followed Diljit’s meteoric rise.
Sonali has also unfollowed Diljit on Instagram, fuelling further speculation about a fallout between the two.
Notably, she did not attend the Met Gala with the Punjabi star, nor did she share anything about the event on social media.
“This is a big shock for people who have followed Diljit’s journey. No one expected it, but things are not going well between them professionally,” the source added.
In 2024, Sonali was recognised as Billboard’s Global Manager of the Year on their Women in Music list—a testament to her influence in taking Diljit’s career international.
The duo’s journey began in 2013 when Sonali, then a marketing executive, worked on the multi-artist album ‘Bhangra Paa Mittra’, which featured Diljit as the lead performer. Their collaboration blossomed into a long-standing partnership, with Diljit frequently acknowledging her contribution to his success.
