Donald Trump does it again, to avoid tough question, blames ‘accent of Indian reporter’
It seemed Donald Trump was attempting to avoid a controversial question once again on a global platform.
When asked about anti-India activities in the US, the President blamed the Indian reporter’s “accent,” saying “he cannot understand a word.”
This occurred during a joint press conference at the White House with Prime Minister Modi. Trump stated that he could not “understand a word” of the question being asked by the Indian reporter. The Indian reporter asked Trump about anti-India activities in the US. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seated beside him when the question was asked.
In response, Trump said, “You’re going to have to go louder.”
The reporter then asked the same question, but Donald Trump said, “I can’t understand a word he’s saying. It’s the accent, it’s a little bit tough for me.”

Earlier, during a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Donald Trump also did not answer a question, citing difficulty in understanding the accent of a reporter from Afghanistan. “It’s a beautiful voice and a beautiful accent. The only problem is I can’t understand a word you’re saying. But, I just say this— good luck, live in peace,” he said to the female reporter from Afghanistan who had posed the question.
