‘Joe Biden vibes’: Netizens draw comparisons as Donald Trump stumbles on Air Force One steps
A video of President Donald Trump stumbling while climbing the steps of Air Force One in New Jersey on Sunday has gone viral on social media, sparking widespread reactions and comparisons to similar incidents involving former President Joe Biden. The stumble occurred shortly after rainstorms swept through the Bedminster area.
Social media users were quick to comment, with one person writing, “Trump stumbles while boarding Air Force One. Joe Biden vibes or maybe characteristics of a body double.” Another quipped, “Donald Trump stumbles over the same set of steps that Joe Biden used to step over. By MAGA’s rules, Trump should resign the presidency immediately.” Others mocked the situation, noting the irony given how often Biden was ridiculed for similar mishaps. “All those MAGA bros who memed Biden for this are punching the air right now,” read one viral post.

During his time in office, Biden faced multiple similar incidents. In February 2024, he stumbled twice while boarding Air Force One while preparing to fly to Los Angeles, grabbing the railing for support. A year earlier, in February 2023, Biden tripped while boarding the aircraft in Warsaw after a visit to Eastern Europe, though he quickly regained his balance and continued on.
