The backlash took a disturbing turn when fake posts and videos claiming Anjana Om Kashyap's own death started circulating online. One viral reel showed a person mourning in front of her poster, adorned with a funeral garland. While some netizens supported the trolling, others condemned it, saying "two wrongs don't make a right".
