‘Kanda Poha Princess’: This content creator transcends borders to get curry leaves for his girlfriend
Poha is a dish loved by many. As a light breakfast or a quick snack, poha is perfect for both. But is poha even complete without all of its ingredients, especially those fragrant curry leaves, the answer is no.
That's what this content creator thought. Ved Campbell Maddison, a British content creator, traveled all the way to India just to get curry leaves.
In the viral video, Maddison’s wife can be heard saying, “mujhe kanda poha chahiye,” (I want onion poha) but then she demands, “I need curry patta” (curry leaves). To fulfill his girlfriend’s wish, the creator decides to come to India.
The video further features Maddison boarding a plane, followed by the aesthetic chaos of Mumbai local transportation and an Indian street market, where he buys the curry leaves and travels back to his girlfriend. After which, his girlfriend can be seen making the poha for them.
The caption of the video reads “Kanda Poha Princess.”
This cute video is receiving a lot of love on the internet, with people appreciating the creator’s effort.
“That’s the definition of ‘if he wanted to, he would’," said a user. "Men for their pasandida aurat," read another comment. "Bhai, thoda vada pav leke aa na Mumbai se, thank you," joked another user.
