Delhi Metro truly feels like a whole parallel universe at times—every ride can be an episode of its own show. From dance reels and fashion shows to sudden stand-up rants, it's like public transport meets reality TV.

This time, the viral moment in Delhi Metro was less about dance reels and more about divine feels, as a group of women broke into devotional singing mid-ride before security stepped in.

Some sat on seats, others cross-legged on the floor, performing kirtan (devotional songs) with instruments like the dholak and manjira in hand. The unexpected spiritual jam left fellow passengers amused, confused, and definitely reaching for their phones.

The vibes didn’t last long though—security soon stepped in, politely reminding the group that Delhi Metro has strict rules: no floor-sitting, no performances. The women quickly apologised, ending their holy interlude.

Captured by an Instagram user, the video, captioned “Delhi metro me Aapka Swagat hai”, has crossed over 2.5 million views with the internet doing what it does best—reacting.

A user wrote, “30 rupay ki ticket mein concert mil gaya!” Another user commented, “Ghar aur mandir ke alawa harr jagha inko bhakti yaad aati Hai”.

“This is not a place for all these things basic etiquette should be there”, added a third individual.

“Aunties were like what will be the cheapest place with AC”, said a fourth person on Instagram. “Delhi metro ban rha Mumbai local train”, added another one.
