A recent video has sparked amusement and commentary online after an Indian woman was filmed performing religious rituals, mistakenly believing the popular Labubu doll to be a Chinese deity.

The clip, which shows her offering prasad and showing devotion to the quirky collectible toy, has led to humorous reactions – with many jokingly calling it the ‘last generation of innocence’.

"An Indian girl told her mother that Labubu is a Chinese god. Just hearing this, she started worshipping Labubu. Jai Labubu," caption of the video that was shared by X user @TyrantOppressor read.

Meanwhile, the netizens were quick to react.
