‘Love has no altitude’: Indian woman celebrates 80th birthday with skydive, sets record

Courage truly knows no age—because when you’re determined to achieve something, the only thing that matters is a strong will.

That’s exactly what Dr Shraddha Chauhan proved with her brave act.

Chauhan celebrated her 80th birthday with a tandem skydive—despite suffering from vertigo, cervical spondylitis, and prolapsed spinal discs, she went ahead and did it.

Jumping from a height of 10,000 feet, Chauhan has now set a record: she became the oldest Indian woman to do a tandem skydive, and the oldest to do it within India.

She took the plunge with her son, Saurabh Singh Shekhawat, a retired brigadier, who shared the heartwarming video on Instagram.

“A mother. A milestone. A moment that soared. — Courage knows no age. — Love has no altitude,” Shekhawat wrote in the caption.

The video has been widely appreciated online, with many users inspired by Shraddha’s fearless act.
