Maha Kumbh makes its way to Noida as residents pour water from Triveni Sangam into society pool
Residents of ATS Society in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, recreated Prayagraj’s Maha Kumbh Mela at home by pouring holy water from the Triveni Sangam into the society pool and then taking dips in it to perform the ceremonial snan at home.
Most of the residents were women. They were seen offering their prayers and chanting “Har Har Gange” in their makeshift sangam.
A video of the 'ceremony' went viral on X, with many netizens reacting to the video in shock and bemusement.
pic.twitter.com/pkgkQFzkou

One user commented, “Mahamurkh anpadh andhbhakt hai ye”.
In a hilarious comment, another user said, “Instead of Kumbh I’m going to Goa, coz Goa is on Arabian sea and Arabian Sea is part of Indian Ocean and water from the Sangam flows into the Indian Ocean!”
Meanwhile, another person approved of the loophole and commented, “Why didn't they think of this idea earlier? They should have poured that water of Ganga in every Nala, Talab, or lake in India so people wouldn't have had to suffer for those traveling nightmares.”
Yet another user reacted by saying, “Hum akele nahi beemar honge sabko karenge🤡”.
Referring to the “digital snan” offer that went viral a few days ago, one netizen commented, “Why are these taking the business of the great startup of digital kumbh dubki guy??”
