India pacer Jasprit Bumrah took his 100th T20I wicket in the first T20I against South Africa at the Barabati Satadium in Cuttack on Tuesday night.

However, the milestone lost some of its gloss as it ran into a controversy.

In his second spell, the speedster got the wicket of Dewald Brewis, who was caught by skipper Suryakumar Yadav.

As the batter walked to the pavilion, replays showed that Bumrah had slightly overstepped. But the third umpire deemed it a legal delivery.

With this, Bumrah became the first Indian bowler to claim 100 wickets across formats. However, the way the milestone wicket came led to a lot of debate.
