The pentagon theory was coined in August 1990 by Frank Meeks a Domino’s franchise in Washington. It noticed a surge in pizza orders by CIA buildings and the very next day Iraq invading Kuwait was in the news. Meeks again noticed the same pattern in 1998 before the impeachment hearing of President Bill Clinton.

Why the theory is called Pentagon

The theory gets its name Pentagon from the office of United States defence, reportedly The office experiences surge in pizza deliveries before something big is about to happen.

The connection with Israel-Iran war

A X account named Pentagon pizza report, posted about high surge in pizza orders “As of 6:59pm ET nearly all pizza establishments nearby the Pentagon have experienced a Huge surge in activity.” The bar graphed shared along also showed a spike in pizza orders and this was an hour before the news of Israel attacking Iran made it to the headlines.

Is this for real?

Although the Pentagon spokesperson came forward and said that this Index “does not alight with the event”, also stating that there are many pizza outlets available inside the pentagon building itself excepting any needs to order it from outside. However, people still believe in it considering how the index has been fairly accurate since 1980’s.

The incident has left the internet wondering if pizza orders really do have a connection with wars and conflicts or is it just another theory.
