Originally shared by Instagram user TrueNorth Looper, the clip captures a picnic spot where speakers are blasting music, yet no one seems to be enjoying the set up.

The man passionately expresses his frustration, stating, “Just another example of, come down, blast whatever kind of music you want at whatever level you want.”

“But heaven forbid I play guitar to raise money for the Barrie Food Bank or the Bob Rumble Deaf Foundation. That’s a no-no. Not happy,” he adds.

This has left many divided with differing opinions on beach etiquette and cultural expression.

The comments section was soon filled with divided opinions. Several users supported his stance on respecting public spaces. “Common courtesy and space for others used to be a thing. I think the dude is on point. Don’t disturb others’ peace and be mindful of people around you,” a user said, while another added, “It’s on purpose just to piss people off. Turn it off. Tada. Simple.”

Others defended the music as they questioned why it was an issue in the first place. "What’s wrong with it? White and Black people play music on buses and subways every day,” one of the users said.

Another user quipped, “Buy a private beach then, buddy.”
