Rakshabandhan, a festival celebrating the bond between siblings, often sees brothers pledging to protect their sisters. But this year, a young boy’s refreshingly honest reaction has taken the Internet by storm.

The video was posted by an Instagram user Biji Basheer that captured her son’s honest, innocent and progressive spirit.

In a viral clip, the young boy who is dressed in a navy-blue three-piece suit, hilariously questions the very premise of his role as a protector, pointing to his formidable female cousins and declaring, “Have you seen my cousins? They are like warrior tanks. They will protect me!”

He adds, “One push-up also I can’t do. What I'll protect them?”

When his mother asks him about what the meaning of the festival, he sweetly answers, “It’s a bracelet thing that girls tie to the boys.”
