Salman Khan’s old tweet ‘Did Zinta's team won kya’ trends

An old tweet from Bollywood actor Salman Khan is trending again after Punjab Kings beat Mumbai Indians and made it to the IPL 2025 final.

In 2014, Salman had tweeted, "Zinta's team won kya?" (Did Zinta’s team win?).

After the latest win, the official Punjab Kings page posted a photo of Salman and wrote, "See you in the final, bhai."

Fans on social media are loving it. Many called the tweet a lucky charm for the team. Some shared funny messages and memes like: “This tweet is like fine wine, it gets better with time.” Another wrote: “Every time PBKS wins, this tweet comes back.”

“If Salman bhai said it, then the win was guaranteed!” wrote one. "Abki baar trophy jayegi punjab," read another reply.

Punjab Kings chased a big target of 204 runs as her team defeated Mumbai Indians.

This win sends Punjab Kings to their first IPL final in 11 years, where they will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

This will be Punjab's first title clash since 2014, and second successive for Iyer as captain after marshalling Kolkata Knight Riders' triumph in 2024.
