Former Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover revealed how the reality show has been leveraging his name to increase views in a post that he recently reshared.

Even though there are now 12 sharks on the panel and a new group of entrepreneurs in Shark Tank India Season 3, the original shark, Ashneer Grover, still commands the most attention.

The former judge, who is well-known for having direct talks with pitchers and giving strict feedback, recently reshared an article that revealed how the well-liked business reality show has been leveraging his name to increase views on YouTube.

The Shark Tank India team is using #AshneerGrover in their caption to draw in more views, according to a screenshot that an X user posted which was reshared by Ashneer on X.

Ashneer rose to fame after appearing in the first season of the reality show. But after a falling out with his old company, BharatPe, he was removed from the panel of judges. In season 2, Ashneer was replaced by Amit Jain, the founder of Cardekho.com.

Ashneer continues to be popular among netizens for his presence on social media.
