Time heals everything, Sunny Deol says on mending ties with Shah Rukh Khan

Actor Sunny Deol is making the headlines these days for all the right reasons. His latest release, ‘Gadar 2’ has received a thundering response from the audience.

With everyone appreciating the film, Deol’s latest fan seems to be none other than Shah Rukh Khan.

In a recent interview, Sunny spoke about his latest interaction with SRK. Sunny revealed that the ‘Pathaan’ actor had called him to congratulate for the success of ‘Gadar 2’.

Sunny said, “He has seen the film and before that he called me up and wished me. He told me, ‘I am so happy, you genuinely deserve it’, and I said ‘thank you’.”

Sunny said he also spoke to Shah Rukh’s wife and son. “I spoke to his wife and son and he said that tonight they’re going to watch the film, and I said ‘great’. I think after that he saw the film and tweeted about it,” Sunny said.

During a recent ‘#ASKSRK’ session on X, SRK tweeted about ‘Gadar 2’ and said he loved the film.

However, things have not always been cordial between the two actors. The two, who starred together in the 1993 film ‘Darr’, had a sour relationship post the film. Reportedly, Sunny was upset after he was sidelined by Khan’s character in the film.

Talking about their past tiff, Sunny said their issues are a thing of the past now. “On many occasions even I have called him, we have shared our thoughts on certain things. The past issues, or whatever they were, I say time heals everything and we move ahead. That’s how life should be.”
