Keeping the kids rooted and humble is every parent’s foremost priority. With years of acquired wit and sarcasm, most Indian dads never miss a chance to pull your leg or roast you.

Jitu Galani, a young lad, was recently trolled by his father for placing an order online with the wrong delivery address.

In a WhatsApp conversation that has been doing the rounds on the Internet, Jitu conveyed to his parents in what appears to be a family chat group that he had received a refund from Swiggy against the wrongly addressed order.

Seeing this, his father didn’t miss the opportunity to mock him and gave him a savage reply: “Tu bhi galti se order huya tha lekin mujhe toh refund nahi mila (You were also ordered by mistake but I did not receive a refund)”.

His mother also joined in the banter by replying with snorting laughing emojis.

“Wanted to eat roasted chicken but got roasted instead,” the boy wrote sharing the conversation.

As his tweet garnered attention, he tweeted another photo saying had he replied like his father did, he would have been kicked out of the group.

The hilarious family banter received much attention from users saying how it mirrored every desi household.

As netizens were left in splits, some even appreciated how at least he got a reply from his dad and was not just left on ‘seen’ or given a ‘thumbs up’.

With one user offering cold water to heal the burn, read some chucklesome reactions here:

The post has garnered nearly 4,000 likes and hundreds of retweets.

The desi dad’s savage burn must have made Jitu go: “Papaji, itna bhi sach nahi bolna tha.”
