An image of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation bus is getting viral on social media, where the driver can be seen with his head packed in a helmet while driving the bus. The bus belongs to Loni depot of Ghaziabad district.

As the image suggests, the front windshield of the bus is broken, hence driver adopted this peculiar provision to add a protective layer in front of his face.

Well, the reason for using helmet seems to be requisite for driver while at the same time could be contemplative for UP government for having such dilapidated buses in its fleet.

As per a report of India Today, the vehicle was spotted at Baghpat-Ghaziabad border on National Highway 709B. Bhudev Singh, the senior foreman, said that the vehicle was taken by the bus driver in the afternoonon Sunday.

A passer-by chased the bus to get a video of it after noticing driver wearing a helmet.

Meanwhile SP chief and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav had also shared this image on his Facebook while taking jibe at ruling BJP.  

The bus had reportedly met an accident after which it hadn’t been repaired.

On reaching the depot, the driver had told that his bus had an accident with another bus, in which the front glass broke. Foreman Bhudev Singh mentioned that he had informed the concerned authorities of the accident.
