The resurgence of the footage comes amid his son, Akshaye Khanna’s viral appearance in the film “Dhurandhar”.
In the viral snippet, Vinod Khanna addressed his past relationships. He openly stated that he was “no saint as far as women are concerned” and emphasized his need for intimacy. Khanna specifically remarked, “Well, I was a bachelor, and I am no saint as far as women are concerned. I need sex as much as anybody else does. Without women, we won't be here; without sex, we won't be here. So why should anybody object to my being with women?”
Khanna’s straightforward nature has been appreciated by fans who have contrasted his openness with his son’s private demeanor.
While the elder Khanna was married twice — first to Geetanjali Khanna (Akshaye’s mother) and later to Kavita Khanna — Akshaye Khanna has remained unmarried. He has publicly expressed a preference for a “carefree life,” saying he is not "marriage material."
