Get ready for a spine-tingling Halloween surprise — the infamous Perron family farmhouse that inspired ‘The Conjuring’ horror franchise is going up for auction on the spookiest day of the year — October 31.

Located in Burrillville, Rhode Island, this 1736-built house has been shrouded in paranormal mystery, reportedly haunted by the spirit of Bathsheba Sherman who had believed to have terrorised the property for over a century.

The Conjuring, released in 2013, dramatised the real-life experiences of the Perron family and the investigations of paranormal experts Ed and Lorraine Warren. Visitors and former residents have shared eerie encounters, from sudden temperature drops to shadowy figures and unexplained noises.

Comedian Matt Rife and YouTuber Elton Castee have already made headlines by acquiring the Ed and Lorraine Warren's Connecticut home and museum, housing the notorious and haunted ‘Annabelle doll’. They're now eyeing the Perron farmhouse, aiming to preserve its paranormal legacy.
