Principal forcibly removed from chair at Bishop Johnson Girls High School in Prayagraj

Bishop Johnson Girls High School in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, managed by the Diocese of Lucknow (Church of North India), became the centre of a controversy when supporters of Bishop Morris Edgar Dan allegedly forcefully removed the current principal, Parul Solomon, from her chair on Tuesday.

The incident, captured on video and widely circulated on social media, shows a group led by a lawyer entering the principal’s chamber. The group forcefully ousted her and installed a new principal in her place.
Following the altercation, Parul Solomon filed a complaint at the Colonelganj police station. In her complaint, Solomon accused Bishop Morris Edgar Dan and his supporters of looting, threatening, and misconducting during the incident.
Bishop Morris Edgar Dan has yet to publicly address the allegations.
