Beijing, November 20
A meeting between the Afghan government and the Taliban, to be hosted by China here on Thursday, has been postponed. Beijing maintained that it was in touch with all parties to hold talks. China, Afghanistan and the Taliban have not given any reason for the postponement.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said, “China firmly supports the broad, inclusive peaceprocess that is Afghan-led and Afghan-owned. — PTI
