Chandigarh, September 6
Amid claims by Taliban that it had wrested the Panjshir valley from the National Resistance Force (NRF), the focus is now on leader of the force and military commander Ahmad Massoud whose whereabouts remain unknown.
Though the Islamist militia claimed it had defeated the resistance force, the latter denied the claims as false. Though some reports emanating out of Pakistan-based newspapers claim that Massoud had fled, but the military commander took to Twitter to deny the claims.
I’m safe, mate, don’t worry.😢

Despite the Taliban offensive, Massoud has taken to micro-blogging site Twitter to assert that his forces were still fighting.
Today
Hundreds of Taliban fighters in Panjshir surrendered to the resistance forces and were welcomed by their commander, Hamid Saifi.

He accused the Pakistani’s ISI of helping the Taliban
The Taliban are not fighting with us but the Pakistani army and ISI are leading them. The Taliban are not strong enough to compete with us but the Pakistan Army is cooperating with them #SanctionPakistan@calxandr
