"Assam is the place to be," Himanta Biswa Sarma at Singapore Road Show

Singapore, February 12 (ANI): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday addressed over 200 business leaders at the Singapore Roadshow, which was organised in the Southeast Asian city state to promote the 'Advantage Assam 2.0' summit among investors.

The Chief Minister is in Singapore to promote the Advantage Assam 2.0 - Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025,' is scheduled for February 25-26 in Guwahati.

Himanta Biswa Sarma, taking to his social media platform X, said that he had personally invited each prospective investor to join Advantage Assam 2 and explore the diverse opportunities our state offers.

"Assam is the PLACE to be! That was the resounding message we conveyed to over 200 business leaders at the Singapore Roadshow. I personally invited each prospective investor to join Advantage Assam 2 and explore the diverse opportunities our state offers. Singapore's investor community showed great enthusiasm for Assam's unique advantages in harnessing India's economic potential." Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote on X.

"Our locational edge, single-window clearance, tailored incentives, strong law & order, and disciplined workforce stand as our core USPs," he said.

Sarma said that Singapore's investor community had displayed great enthusiasm.

"Singapore's investor community showed great enthusiasm for Assam's unique advantages in harnessing India's economic potential. Our locational edge, single-window clearance, tailored incentives, strong law and order, and disciplined workforce stand as our core USPs." Sarma wrote.

On Tuesday, Himanta Biswa Sarma called on President of Singapore, H E Tharman Shanmugaratnam, to discuss Assam's key position in furthering the Indo-Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

The Chief Minister also called upon the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, H E Vivian Balakrishnan to explore areas of mutual collaboration to deepen ties between Assam and Singapore to take forward India's Act East Policy. (ANI)
