Kristin Cabot, the woman at the center of the now-infamous Coldplay kiss-cam moment, has filed for divorce from her husband Andrew Cabot, just weeks after the viral incident sparked widespread media attention.

According to court documents, Kristin, 52, officially filed for divorce in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on August 13 — less than a month after she was caught on camera affectionately kissing her boss, Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, during a Coldplay concert, reports nypost.com.

The clip ignited a social media firestorm, especially after it emerged that she was still legally married at the time.

While the public assumed the kiss was a scandalous betrayal, insiders close to the Cabots claim the couple’s relationship was already strained.

Andrew Cabot, a third-generation Boston Brahmin and CEO of Privateer Rum, was reportedly on a business trip in Japan when the video surfaced.

“I texted Andrew right after it happened,” his ex-wife Julia Cabot told The Daily Mail.

He said, ‘Her life is nothing to do with me,’ and explained they were already separating.”

Julia, 63, a yoga teacher and Andrew’s second wife, added: “He’s saying it’s not his problem, even though they were still married and living together. But then again, the only thing he really cares about is money.”

Julia didn’t hold back in her comments, describing both her ex-husband and Kristin in scathing terms. “I wouldn’t say he’s husband material,” she said. “But she doesn’t seem like wife material either.”

Andrew and Kristin had purchased a $2.2 million, four-bedroom home near the New Hampshire coast just five months before the scandal broke.

Despite that, sources now suggest the couple had been discussing separation for some time — a narrative that some insiders believe is being pushed to protect reputations following the very public fallout.

“There were photos and posts just weeks ago saying how in love they were,” one source told the Mail.

“Now suddenly it’s ‘we’ve been having marriage troubles for months’? It’s a little convenient.”

Julia Cabot also seemed to relish the irony of the situation. “After the video went viral, I got a lot of texts from people saying just one word: karma,” she said. “Andrew’s not a nice person. Now something not nice has happened to him.”

Whether the divorce proceedings between Kristin and Andrew Cabot turn contentious remains to be seen. But if Andrew’s past divorce is any indication, the path ahead could be anything but smooth.
