Covid-19 restrictions: Told to leave dining area, customers shoot 2 McDonald's employees in US

Two customers shot and injured two McDonald’s employees in the US after they were asked to leave the dining area due to the Covid-19 restrictions. The incident occurred in Oklahoma City.

One employee was shot in the shoulder, while the other was shot in the leg, according to a CNN report. Both injuries were not life-threatening, the report said. A third employee, a woman, sustained lacerations on her head, the report added. The two suspects fled the scene but were caught nearby.

This is the not the first time such an incident has occurred in the US as residents have been protesting across the country against the government restrictions in place to fight coronavirus.
