Chandigarh, June 7

A pilot in Canada paid a unique tribute to George Floyd by flying on a path in the shape of a raised fist.

Dimitri Neonakis chose to pay his tribute in the skies over Halifax, Nova Scotia. He chose the fist because it was a symbol of the movement against racism, Neonakis told CNN.

Neonakis used an app to map out the image and then followed the path. He flew at about 240 km per hour, and it took him about two-and-a-half hours to finish the image.

Though only the radar could detect the drawing, Neonakis said it made him feel good even if no one saw it.

This is not the first time Neonakis has drawn an image in the sky. In April, he used his plane to express his reaction when nine people were killed in a murder rampage in Novia Scotia.
