London, January 17

Princess of Wales Kate Middleton has been hospitalised after undergoing planned abdominal surgery and will remain at The London Clinic for up to two weeks, Kensington Palace said on Wednesday.

King Charles has sought treatment for an enlarged prostate, Buckingham Palace said on Wednesday, adding that the condition was benign and he would attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure. — Agencies
