KP Oli re-elected CPN-UML chairman
Kathmandu: Nepal’s main opposition CPN-UML on Tuesday overwhelmingly re-elected former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli as the chairman of the country’s largest Communist Party for the second time. Oli bagged 1,840 votes against his nearest rival Bhim Rawal, who got 223 votes. PTI
Court postpones verdict on Suu Kyi
Bangkok: A court in Myanmar postponed its verdict on Tuesday in the trial of ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi to allow testimony from an additional witness. The court agreed with a defence motion that it allow a doctor who had previously been unable to come to court to add his testimony, a legal official said. AP
