Mandaviya to visit Russia

New Delhi, June 12

In the first ministerial visit to Russia after it began special military operations in Ukraine in February, Union Health and Fertilisers Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will attend the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) from June 15 to 18.

The SPIEF, its lustre diminished this year because of western sanctions, is being held since 1997 but the Modi Government has paid special attention to it since 2014. In 2017, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the chief guest at the SPIEF.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
