Passengers exchange blows on board KLM aircraft over wearing of masks; watch video

A clash between two passengers onboard an aircraft over wearing of face masks has gone viral on social media.

Both put behind bars, the violent fight broke out on a KLM flight from Amsterdam to Ibiza after the two men refused to wear masks.

The in-flight ruckus with the duo engaging in fistfight was captured by another passenger on a cellphone and posted on Instagram handle michighclub.

In the video footage, one of the men can be seen shirtless.

The brawl is learnt to have been started by a British national who was consuming alcohol.

“The British man who caused a brawl aboard @klm flight to Ibiza – he and his friend refused to wear a face mask and bothered other passengers – was arrested by Guardia Civil,” wrote @michighclub.

Masks are mandatory for KLM passengers.
