A video of sky covered with clouds that look like “cotton wool” and “marshmallows” in Argentina have gone insanely viral on social media.

The strange cloud formations are known as Mammatus. Netazins commenting on the video described the clouds as “marshmallows”, “cotton wool” and “freaky”.

A few said that the uncanny resemblance of the cloud formation to cotton balls, others said that it looked like a scene from another planet.Ancient people probably freaked out when they first saw this lol

Other said: “This is beautiful! We truly live in paradise and yet we’re managing to mess it all up! May the creators of this life, world, universe, etc, have mercy on our souls!”

These clouds are usually associated with thunderstorms. They indicate arrival of heavy rain, lightning and even hailstorms.

This, of course, is not the first cloud formation to have left the netizens impressed. Earlier, a picture of a wavy cloud formation in the sky of United States created a panic on the internet.
