Eichmann prosecutor Gabriel Bach dies
Jerusalem: Gabriel Bach, a prosecutor in the 1961 trial of notorious Nazi Adolf Eichmann who went on to serve on Israel’s Supreme Court, has died. He was 94. The Israel Judiciary Authority did not provide a cause of death. Bach served as a state’s attorney during Eichmann’s high-profile trial in Jerusalem and worked on evidence-gathering in the case. AP
Street crime: Over 100 looted in Karachi
New Delhi: In what can be termed as the biggest street crime incident of the year so far, a group of robbers looted more than 100 persons on Saturday on the Korangi Causeway in Karachi. Ten to 12 robbers reportedly set up roadblocks to trap vehicles and proceeded to rob the people with relative ease and appeared to not be afraid of police and rangers. IANS
