Terror suspect escapes from UK prison

London, September 7

Britain launched a manhunt across airports and ports on Thursday after a terrorist suspect escaped from a London prison where diamond merchant Nirav Modi, who is wanted in India on fraud and money charges, is lodged.

Former soldier Daniel Abed Khalife, 21, was awaiting trial on charges of breaching the UK’s Official Secrets Act at Wandsworth Prison.
