A shocking clip of an Uber driver being mistreated by three female passengers after he requested one of them to wear a mask has surfaced online.
This video was shared on the microblogging website by Dion Lim, a reporter on ABC7 News.
The Uber driverโ Subhakar Khadkaโhad picked up the three women from the Bayview area in San Francisco, California, US on March 8. The driver was allegedly abused, taunted, and physically assaulted after he told one of the passengers to wear her mask.
Reportedly, when the passenger did not wear her mask, he informed them that he would cancel the ride, and that they had to step out of the vehicle. In the clip shared by Lim, they could be seen hitting him, yanking the mask off his face and even, try stealing his phone.
They also pepper-sprayed him.
Subahkar decided to take a few days off after this traumatic incident.
