Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], August 22: For decades, Dr. V.K. Jain healed patients as a dedicated doctor. Today, he heals communities — by teaching lifesaving CPR, planting trees, and building a greener Rajasthan.
On Thursday, August 14th, Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal presented him with the State Award for his outstanding service in public health and environmental sustainability.
Dr. Jain has been on a mission to make CPR training mandatory for school students, a campaign he supports with free training sessions, reaching over two lakh people. His other initiatives include solar energy projects, rainwater harvesting, cleanliness drives, and extensive plantation work.
“This award is not for me alone; it is for every citizen who chooses to learn, act, and help,” he said, dedicating the honour to the people of Rajasthan.
