Recently, Dr. Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson and Managing Director of The LaLiT Suri Hospitality Group, was honoured with the BW HOTELIER Hall of Fame Award for 2024 at the 8th BW Hotelier Indian Hospitality Awards. This recognition celebrates her visionary leadership, which has redefined excellence in Indian hospitality. Under her guidance, The LaLiT has evolved into one of the country’s leading luxury hotel chains, celebrated for its exceptional service standards, commitment to sustainability, and dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion within the industry.

In addition to this, Mr. Keshav Suri, Executive Director of The LaLiT Group, was honoured with the Entrepreneur of the Year in Service Business Hospitality award at the Entrepreneur India Summit 2025. This prestigious recognition celebrates his remarkable contributions to the hospitality industry and his innovative approach to creating inclusive, experience-driven spaces that go beyond conventional luxury. Under his leadership, The LaLiT Group has continued to set new benchmarks in service excellence, diversity, and social responsibility, reflecting his vision of making hospitality a platform for meaningful engagement and positive change.

Dr. Jyotsna Suri has earlier been awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star by the Government of Japan in recognition of her outstanding efforts in strengthening economic and tourism relations between India and Japan. She is the first Indian woman to receive this distinguished honour since it was introduced for foreign nationals in 1981.

In addition to this prestigious accolade, Dr. Suri has been honoured with more than 30 national and international awards. She also holds several key positions across industry bodies. She is the Past President of FICCI, Mentor to both the FICCI Tourism & Culture Committee and the DEI Committee, an Executive Member of the Hotel Association of India (HAI), Vice Chairperson of the World Travel & Tourism Council, India Initiative, and serves on the Boards of Governors for the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology as well as the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.

Mr. Keshav Suri has transformed India’s luxury hospitality landscape by integrating equity, sustainability, and innovation into every facet of the business. A passionate advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights, he played a pivotal role as a petitioner in the landmark case that decriminalized Section 377 in India. To further his commitment to social change, he founded the Keshav Suri Foundation, a charitable trust that supports marginalized communities through education, skill-building, mental health programs, and employment. The foundation also serves as the Indian affiliate of the global It Gets Better Project, empowering voices of inclusion and hope.
