Delivering the Master Address, Mr. Sudhir Mishra urged the academic community to rediscover environmental fundamentals.“When in doubt, go back to basics,” he said, establishing the immense impact of student power—“tomorrow’s green power.” He added, “The toughest part today is the debate on climate and its anxiety, and sadly, it has become limited to kids only now.”

Dr. Saiyam Sahni, Director of The Beacon School, venue host of the Roundtable, reaffirmed the centrality of youth engagement: “When students are given ownership of sustainable action, be it through campus projects, climate clubs, or innovation labs they evolve into ambassadors of change whose influence extends far beyond the classroom.”

In his concluding address, Dr. Amreesh Chandra, Founder – House of Mosaic, emphasized that schools must act as Level Zero of SDG awareness.

“Every student must not only learn about the SDGs but live them through daily habits and community engagement. The transformation of the world begins in the classroom.”

The School Leaders’ Council ended with a pledge to build partnerships among schools, educators, policymakers, and civil society to align curricula and campuses with the 17 UN SDGs—turning educational institutions into engines of global change.
