India Pride IMLI - The Archer" a tough but successful journey of a Tribal Girl

Film maker, Swatantra (Savi) Goel's new Presentation " Imli, The Archer" is set to release in cinemas across the country on October 17th.

This movie is about the journey of a poor Adivasi Girl Imli (Prasanna Bist), who succeeds to unveil her natural talent to be a National Archery Champion with sheer hard work, passion and determination. when a Govt Sports officer on her road trip out of town, notices Imli's incredible and amazing skill and talent of Archery, she convinces her parents to bring her to Govt Sports Academy for such talented youth. Imli meets there a very hardworking and selfless coach, Mr Iyer (Vikram Kochhar), who decides to take Imli to the top level after recognizing her exceptional talent. With their Combined efforts and Imli's hard work, Will Power, Self Belief and dedication, she excels to be a National Archery Champion, winning her a Senior Police officer job as well.

Writer- Director Swatantra (Savi) Goel has not only crafted the film with sensitivity but also infused it with a spirit to inspire Youth, especially girls from Rural Tribal backgrounds.

Message is loud and clear that it's important to recognize hidden talents of our rural/ Tribal youth to reap maximum benefits of Govt schemes like Khelo India.

Writer, Director Swatantra Goel, once a senior officer with State Bank at Patiala and later settled in own business in USA relates this story to his own dreams, struggles and accomplishments in real life despite being from a humble background.

Mr Goel believes, Cinema is not just about entertainment but a powerful tool to awaken Inspiration among youth with SELF BELIEF.

Mr Goel has made eight great movies in past eight years and is determined to make at least one good movie each year.

" IMLI, The Archer" has three beautiful songs with soul searching music by talented Dushyant Dubey. Alongside Prasanna Bist and Vikram kochhar, other talented and versatile actors Maan singh Meena, Ratan Lal, Jyoti, Harshad and Pragya Mishra gave commendable performances in this movie.
