Yunus, who was in Paris for a medical procedure, was named the chief adviser on August 06, a day after PM Hasina resigned. He was appointed to the post by Bangladesh President Shahabuddin after he held meeting with student leaders & chiefs of military services. Yunus, 84, and his Grameen Bank, a microcredit organization, won the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize for work to lift millions out of poverty. After PM Hasina tendered her resignation and fled the country, her adversaries will see Yunus as the chief adviser to interim government. #MuhammadYunus #Bangladesh #PMHasina
