Guru Nanak Dev Academy, Noordi Road, Tarn Taran, organised a grand event on Monday to celebrate the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev with devotion. On this occasion, the staff and students of the institution, which is managed under the supervision of Baba Jagtar Singh and Baba Mohinder Singh of the Kar Seva sect, Tarn Taran, paid their respects during the Bhog of Akhand Path.

The event was also attended by the local sangat, who participated with great devotion. The children delighted the attendees by reciting Shabads and through their speeches, highlighted the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev. The students showcased the Guru’s life and principles through Shabad Kirtan, Kavishri, Gatka, poetry, speeches, art, dialogue and drama, leaving a lasting impression on the congregation.

On this occasion, Baba Jagtar Singh, Baba Mohinder Singh, Baba Avtar Singh, Baba Ram Singh, Baba Surta Singh and the school Principal Jaspal Kaur Sidhu honoured students who had achieved victories at the state, national and international levels in education and sports.
