Baba Sewa Singh, patron of the sect, on mobile informed that the nagar kirtan procession was organised under the patronship of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and the Panj Piaras led the procession. A large number of sangat of nearby areas participated in the procession.
Before starting the procession, the bhog ceremony of Sri Akhand Path was performed in Gwalior Fort. The nagar kirtan got an overwhelming response in Gwalior city. People rushed out to give a warm welcome to the procession.
It was worth noting here that the 6th Sikh Master, Guru Hargobind Sahib, reached Amritsar after being released from Gwalior Fort along with 52 Hindu political prisoners. They all were arrested by Mughal emperor Jahangir.
