New Delhi, June 4
A UPSC aspirant allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his rented flat in Rajendra Nagar after he was denied entry into the examination centre for the preliminary exams conducted on Sunday, said a police official.
Varun (28), a student from Karnataka, by mistake had reached another examination centre due to which he got late reaching his original centre and was not allowed inside the examination centre at Paharganj.
The police have found a suicide note in which he apologised to his family. He had reportedly been preparing for the exam for a long time.
In the suicide note, Varun has said that rules are fine but for good cause some rules should be relaxed. — TNS
