Builder shoots self in Mehrauli

New Delhi, November 15

A 43-year-old man shot himself on his temporal area, said a police official today. The deceased, Amit Gupta, was a builder by profession.

He was taken to Fortis Hospital at Vasant Kunj by his brother where he was declared brought dead.

According to police, there are two wounds on his head — one entry and the other one is exit wound. A country-made pistol and a live cartridge were recovered from the spot.

Statements of his father, wife and other family members have been recorded. The body has been preserved in AIIMS mortuary.
